We are assisting a Greater Manchester retailer to obtain consent for a partial change of use from warehousing to retail showroom, plus insertion of mezzanine floor.  This is part of a wider strategy to reconfigure their sales and storage premises.

Memorial Gardens

RJP secured planning and listed building consent for plant and screening at the rear of the Grade II listed Old Chapel at Manchester Crematorium.

The upgraded plant complies with the latest environmental regulations. RJP’s close involvement in the detailed design ensured that there would be no harm to the significance of the heritage asset, and that the high standards of visual appearance would be upheld across the site, particularly in the adjacent memorial gardens.

Crematorium New Office

We joined forces with Richard Drinkwater Architects and heritage expert Bernadette Bone to develop a high quality design solution for an office to meet the growing needs of the Crematorium operations.

The scheme needed to be sympathetic to its heritage context which includes a Grade II listed chapel. In June 2016 Manchester City Council the approved proposals for the new office facility.
