In February 2018 the Secretary of State for Transport announced the decision to approve new passing facilities on the Manchester to Sheffield Hope Valley route at Bamford and Dore. RJP acted as the consents advisers on the project and supported the large multi-disciplinary team through the scheme development, application submission and public inquiry.
The proposed works will be in the areas of the Peak District National Park and Sheffield City Council. We are proud to have worked with Network Rail, Mott MacDonald, Seed Architects, NLG Ecololgy, Eversheds and Landmark Chambers on this important infrastructure investment scheme and delighted that, after a long wait, the scheme has been approved.
