We worked with the community of Little Linton to provide advice on the functions of the planning system and how to interact with the various stages of plan making. The primary objective has been to enable the residents to participate independently in the process.
It was a rewarding experience working with non planners and sharing our experiences of how the plan making process works. Through engagement with residents and members of the Parish Council, our team established the community’s current fears and concerns about the planning system and major development proposals. We prepared an advice note tailored specifically to their needs with a focus on helping them to engage with future policy making.
It was a pleasure to work on this short but rewarding project.
