RJP has successfully gained planning approval for Route 1 of the new Train Connectivity Information System (TCIS) across the Merseyrail network. The TCIS will see improved train performance, passenger safety and provide wireless internet for Merseyrail users. The applications were submitted on behalf of Alan Dick Communications Ltd.

The process involved applying to and working with four separate local planning authorities for multiple sites in: Liverpool, West Lancashire, Sefton, and Knowsley.  RJP coordinated multiple planning applications to ensure the approval of the entire route. Route 1 is the first of six proposed across the Merseyrail network. We are currently leading on the remaining five routes, and will be coordinating applications to Liverpool, Sefton, Wirral and Cheshire West and Chester.
