Merseyrail Train Connectivity Information System; Improving passenger safety and train performance.

RJP has achieved a 100% success rate on applications for planning approvals for the Merseyrail Train Connectivity Information System (TCIS) on behalf of ADC. The TCIS project will see improved train performance, passenger safety and provide wireless internet for Merseyrail users.

Over three years, 44 applications were submitted to six different planning authorities. The applications included:

• 27 full planning applications

• Eight discharge of conditions applications

• Seven non-material amendments

• Two certificates of lawfulness of proposed use or development

The project has given our planning team valuable project management and stakeholder engagement experience. We are delighted to have helped deliver a regionally important public transport project and are looking forward to our next trip to Liverpool!
