A556

Client: Private land owner.
Status: Complete

RJP was approached by a private land owner to advise on dealing with the Highways England Development Consent Order (DCO) application for the A556 highway replacement scheme.  We reviewed the scheme proposals, including the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), and prepared written representations to the Planning Inspectorate as part of the Examination in Public process.  RJP coordinated a team of experts on matters in relation to noise, visual impacts, heritage and highways to prepare a clear and concise challenge to elements of the road scheme that impacted our client’s property.  As a result, we were in a position to negotiate key changes to the scheme that led to direct reduction of impacts.
