RJP was instructed by Agecroft Investment Company Ltd to provide planning advice on the redevelopment of a site on Thomas Street in Manchester’s Northern Quarter. Cheshire based Agecroft has owned properties in the Northern Quarter for approaching 50 years and has been instrumental in the transformation of the area into the unique and vibrant urban neighbourhood of today. The design was instructed to Northern Quarter based GA Studios who aimed to preserve the Victorian-era frontage and roofscape of the building. RJP was delighted to be supporting Agecroft to ensure that the site has a viable use, while maintaining its contribution to the character of the Smithfield Conservation Area.
