Assistant Planner
Will is a Geography student at the University of Manchester who is completing his placement year at RJP. Inspired by modules on Rural Planning and Sustainability, Will chose to explore the realm of Town Planning. He has had previous work experience with the Sustainability team at Buro Happold in London as well as working as an intern at BANES Planning Department. Within his sustainability coursework he used GIS and Discourse Analysis to locate an optimal location for a new bus stop in North Manchester. His work has been forwarded to Transport for Greater Manchester to review. Overall, Will is a hands-on, efficient worker who is learning quickly about the world of planning.

Will is a keen footballer who has travelled to two Youth World Cups in Sweden and China as well as being the club captain for over 150 boys in his district. He has carried on his passion at university where he has was selected to play for England Universities (North). His competitive traits are reflected in his work. He also enjoys traveling and spends a lot of his free time learning Spanish.
